okay HAHA! how's this for irony??
You'd think my first full german conversation with my grandma ever would be a joyous occasion right?! I mean that's 17 years of horrible communication, broken english, hand gestures, and awkward laughs with someone that's supposed to be really close to you, grandma, finally over with! So the other day I had the first conversation with her.. in german.. and guess what it was about???
that's right... how my mom had a cancerous tumor removed from her head without me knowing 2 weeks ago!

i asked my mom about this.. because i'm really used to this sort of morbid talk.. she that the tumor is all gone... after a 700$ operation. She did say however, that the doctor told her the sun was REALLY truthfully deadly... that scientists weren't joking when they said the sun can cause cancer.
so wear some sunscreen!
