RING, BLAH, BANG/CRACK/, WII, and AHH. Wow, what a B-Day.

Ok, ya. Last Wednesday, I turned 18. Yup, yours truely is now legal. (Even though that didn't stop me at MFF =p). But so, a few people have asked me how my day was. Well to sum it up...

1. Woke up at the usual. 5:00am. But found a package waiting for me outside the house. It was from my Grandma. She got me a CELLPHONE! So that's a HUGE shocker in my book. What a way to start a day. (I needed it).

2. For the most part, classes were just blah. I got to see the original "Frankenstein" and Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho." Which if I get more time. I'll do review's on those two. That and "The Lion King". There's something that's been bugging me, and believe me. I want to know if anyone else has noticed it.

3. Well, after school, I went for my usual 3 mile walk, (it's winter, you really think I'm that stupid to RUN in snow =p). But of couse I wasn't looking for where I was going, and it was snowing, AND it was after sunset, AND IT WAS HARD TO SEE. So I slipped on the sidewalk and landed on my head, (and left elbow)! Hehe, I guess instead of 18 punches, I fall on my head. Well, what's good is I didn't have a concussion. But I did have a headach for the next day. AND, my elbow was a wee bit sensitive in a certain part. But it was only for 2 days. So, that was breakthrough for my day. Please no jokes, please.

4. After I got home. My parents decided to surprise me. They got me 1/2 a Nintendo Wii. Now, before you ask, "How the HECK does someone get you 1/2 a Wii", I'll explain. Basically, we went to Blockbuster, (apparently they had one). So while there. They bought $125, and I "had" to buy the other half, PLUS TAX. Yay! How fun. And they play it more than I do. XP

5. But to end the day, we watched a film, that was actually very good, and somewhat sad. It's a true film. It's called, "Born Free". OH DANG, It was so good. I loved it. It won 2 academy award films and I can see why. Ahh, the lion is just so cute. You can't help but go aww. And the ending. Oh wait, I ain't going to spoil it. You're going to have to see it on your own. But I truely mean it. It was a very hearwarming. Except for a few scenes. The only downside to the film are that my parents TALK DURING THE WHOLE FILM. UGH. But I was able to see it, (and hear it), someway and I loved it. It's not my top 10, mind you. But it's still a great film.

So there's my 18th B-day. I'm now legal, you know...I can "officially" look at pronz whenever I feel like it. Even though I "did" that at MFF. But it was a very interesting day. All I can now say is: "Dang, I can sure go for an ANGRY ICON right now. Or at least a Ticked Off one. That way, I have a better icon for this journal. Or if I ever do feel that way again, and want to say why". XD

Take care everybody. I hope you have an excellent week.
