accidental voice post

*harsh breathing, broken up by low moans and every now and then, a whimper*

[ooc: She was one of Saya's plot victims, and has just escaped the Angel trap. She's cradling a severly burned hand (acid. Nasty stuff) and is bleeding from several holes where the pins were holding her onto the frame.]

I'll be right there.

[She ran as fast as she could to find the woman. She knew neither her face nor name, but the woman was in pain - it should be easy enough to seen her apart.]

[Inara was easy to spot, ideed. Crouched down and leaning heavily against a bench on the edge of the square, she remained just on the outside of the square, a hand cradled to her bloody chest.]

[Waverly swiftly moved to her side. She looked a complete mess. Almost as bad as Ted had. Maybe - no, her chest was bleeding, not her cheek.]

You need to go to the hospital, not your apartment.

[She offered out her arm so she could use it as a crutch.]

[The offered arm was taken by Inara's shaky, but still whole hand. The other remined close to her chest, wrapped in torn material from what was left of one of her better outfits. A quick look was shifted across the square, in the direction she had been heading.]

... you might be right. I was.. heading back to Serenity, but... Simon's not there anymore.

[That was when who she was hit her. Simon wasn't there anymore? That didn't sound good with how protective Mal was of his crew. Still, what mattered right now was getting Inara safe - and not scaring her with the fact that she know who she was.

She'd learned that lesson with Kenshin.

She offered the other hand for better stabilization and started towards the hospital. Getting her in and situated was priority.]

We'll let the captain know what's going on after you're stabilized. What happened - if you remember.

[ooc: Shall we grab a doctor? Faust is on.]

[Waverly's lead was followed without protest, and with a minimum of stumbling. The question was met with a low moan as the injured hand was jarred.}

He's going to be furious....

... there... was a young man in the garden earlier this morning. We were talking, then... nothing. I woke up pinned into this.. trap.

[ooc: Sure thing. ^^]

[She slowed her pace so as not to harm the hand any further then it was. The poor woman was a mess. She wished there was more she could do to help.]

I'm sure that he'll just be happy you're alright. He loves you after all.

[She bit her lip. Really, she didn't mean to have let that slip out. It just sort of ... did.

Well, it could be taken as a platonic love - since Mal loved all his crew.

She remembered that there was a clinic nearby. It may be better to get her to someone faster then trying to get to the hospital.]

I think there's a clinic .. building eight.

[She slowly turned towards that direction. It wasn't too far.]

[There was another grunt, but it was mostly aimed at the comment about the Captain. Instead of her usual hemming and hawing, there was acceptance, and it really said more than she was meaning for it to]

... perhaps.

[The change in direction was a welcome one, since Building eight was a bit closer than the hospital. She nodded a little and furrow her brow a bit as she gritted her teeth]

[Carefully she walked her up the stairs and knocked on the door to building eight.

A woman answered, and seeing the state screamed for a man who seemed to be called Johann. Both women did their best to help Inara inside and to a place where she could rest until 'Johann' arrived.]

[ooc: Shhh, camio appearances are fun~ ;.; I'm going to poke Faust to post now, then we can do Him, you then Wave.]

[The man named Johann arrives a moment later, rolling over the floor, since he's seated in a wheel chair - he seems to be lacking lower legs. He gives Inara's hand a brief look and then nods.]

That looks like a rather bad burn. Just a moment, Fräulein, I'll give you something for the pain.
Take a seat, and don't worry. I'll help you.

[He might look scary, but he's gentle and effective, maneuvering very well even if confined to a wheel chair. Preparing some pain relief, Faust then moves to administer it, so he could work on helping her hand and wounds without causing more pain.]

[She did as she was asked to, partly because she knew it was best, but mostly because she wasn't sure how much longer her legs would hold her up. There's a soft hiss at the bite of the needle, but the sweet relief it gave didn't take long to settle her. She chances a quick look at him, but doesn't flinch.

Companions are too well trained to flinch.]

.. thank you. Both of you.

[The woman went off to make some tea and Waverly sat with Inara, keeping hold of the woman's good hand.]

If you need to, just squeeze.

[It must have hurt so much. She wished she could have helped, but anything she knew was far too new - plus, after what happened with Ted, she was less then willing to try using it.

The man seemed very nice, if not creepy as hell. She'd been around Noferatu, so his appearance, as disturbing as it was, wasn't so bad. Besides, she'd heard amazing things about him.]
