[This older Ami has spent the last while looking over the Luceti journal keyed to her name. She turns on the video and smiles, wide and predatory.]

These Malnosso must not know what happened last time I was somewhere like this. I'm not their subordinate to fight their battles; the one I'll take out is them.

Everyone's a little tired of them, hm?

[This idea seems to please her.]

You, too?

Well, everyone has their limits of tolerance, after all.

I like to imagine that getting to them would be more difficult than actually fighting them. [ Or letting those with freakish powers fight them, because hey, he's not picky. ] Why hide yourself so well if you've got the power to do your own dirty work?

That's pretty clever of you. So, know where they are?

[After all, just because it's hard doesn't mean he doesn't have some ideas.]

I'd say our best bets would be outside of the barrier- it's an obvious choice, of course, but since no one can get out the Malnosso can afford to be a little obvious.

... Maybe an underground facility while they were at it, on the off-chance that they bring in an individual who manages to find a way around it. They seem to be pretty fond of places with elaborate tunnel systems, after all.

I'm pretty new, so I don't know how they work very well yet. Want to tell me more?

Of course. Here in Luceti, we're all nicely contained by a barrier of unknown origin- and for all the superpowered people they've brought in, nobody has been able to escape. There are a series of tunnels running beneath the village that supposedly cancel those special abilities out, too; you can imagine why an organization specializing in kidnapping people and experimenting on them would find that useful.

I've been through that sort of thing before.

It's alright. I don't intend to stay forever this time, either.

That's an excellent outlook to have.

Out the very second we manage to get a doorway. [ At the very least, that's what he can tell people. ]

Thinking that way is much better.

Plenty of people become complacent, but I won't be one of them.
