[It's the battle dome clinic. It must be, because Ami, Doctor Mizuno, is in a room that could pass for an office in any modern hospital at first glance. She looks quite pleased with herself, quite pleased indeed

No, it isn't silly at all; we all come from different worlds here, and have different experiences.
Are you familiar with an illness that comes with aches, fever, chills, and sometimes vomiting? It's called the flu, in my world. These medicines help to prevent it. Since it tends to be common in winter, that's usually when the shots are given.
Yes, that's true... it's just that you seemed so much more knowledgeable about it, so I thought it might one of those things that most people know already.
But that does sound familiar! I can't say it was very common, but some of the young children at home would sometimes get an illness like that during the winter months, especially when they played together near the peak. How do these "flu shots" help to shield against that sort of ailment?

Alright, then I'll be there as soon as I'm able!
[And she is, pretty early that afternoon, with a parka over her usual clothes. She'd already been shown the workings of the battle dome by Selphie earlier in the week, but she still can't help but do a little awed glancing around when she walks in.
But right, she came for something! She spots Ami, recognizing her from the message, and walks over.] Hello! I hope I haven't come at a bad time.
[She sits, but since she never actually asked what the shot part of flu shot was, she doesn't take the parka off.]
Hmm, let me think... I did have a bad reaction to a Red Potion when I was very young! But I'm not sure if that would count, since I imagine the medicines here are very different.
Sure! [And she does, setting the parka aside and revealing the conveniently sleeveless attendant's dress she wears underneath. She's occupied with that enough that she doesn't notice said shiny needle right away.
When she does, she can't stop her eyes from widening a little.] Ah, that... must be the shot! It looks quite, um, sharp.
I-I see! I've just never seen anything like it before, so it's a little frightening... but after you came to rescue Jack and I, the least I can do is trust you! I'll do my best.
[She takes a deep breath, trying to settle her newly electrified nerves, and waits.]

When you get ill, your body produces certain things to defeat the illness. The shot will help those to do the job more quickly and efficiently.

I think I'd like to get one of these shots then! It wouldn't do to get ill while I'm still settling in, after all. Is there a time I should meet you?

The afternoon seems to be clear, if you have time.

Please come in. The office is right this way. [She gestures with her arm.]

[She just needs to get a fresh needle prepared. She quickly does so, and comes back to her patient.]
Have you had any reactions to medicines in the past?

[She finishes making ready, and turns back to her patient.]
Could you take your parka off, please? [There's now a bright, shiny needle waiting for Ami to use it.]

[As if to prove her words, she has the shot all ready by the time she's done saying it. And she's just about to give it...]
