QUICK REMINDER; THE FOLLOWING WORDS AND THOUGHTS ARE ALL JUST PERSONAL MINDWRAPS AND OPINIONS. I WILL NEVER SAY I AM RIGHT AND FOR ALL I KNOW I AM COMPLETELY WRONG WITH ALL OF MY THOUGHTS HERE. NEVERTHELESS, I HOPE TO MAKE YOU THINK, ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. REPLY IF YOU PLEASE. COMMUNICATE. WELCOME AND HELLO.
For long I have been thinking that, in a spiritual reincarnation kind of way, us human beings can live our lives on planet Earth as many times as we need or want to. That if we so desire, after we've left our meat suit bodies and we travel on with the right willpower, we can return into another new born human organic vehicle. But what if there is no round number two? What if ..this is it?
What do you do when you believe that this is it? Just this one life. After this, you're out. Part of the evolutionary process. After all, realize that we're just a glimpse and probably just a 5 second moment in the whole timeline of evolution's ways. Yes, it's a weird process. Don't fear that, just realize it.
So, most of us fuck ourselves up every weekend until we see triple through our eyes. Of all decisions we can make in life, this is what we decide to do every week. Routined.
Or, we watch television or are on the internet 24/7.
I see friends and people I don't really know being online three quarters of their days on myspace.
I imagine them unawarely withering away behind a screen, ignoring everything they REALLY want to do, keeping distant digital contact with others and only focussing on their own little egoes and selfs. Even I've found myself a prey to these things. At some point even I have to say, snap the fuck out of it. Do we actually believe in ourselves? Is this really what we choose to do from day to day? Go to school, eat, sleep, repeat?
Think for yourself because I think we lack the knowledge of knowing any better OR (even closer) are afraid of truly looking ourselves in the eye and wonder who the fuck we actually are and what we can do. You know, we are the human beings, homo sapiens of the present today! Of now!
So let's fuck it all, we feel insecure and unsatisfied with ourselves. Our lives are labyrinths to ourselves anyways so let's all party and die dazed and confused in the end. Or stay locked away in our own homes until we grow old and die. Yeah!
Wrong. You know why I think our lives are labyrinths to ourselves??
We're plastered by the system over generations and we've actually turned into being our own consumers. Born and raised in a system of control. Lab rats of the 21st century system maze of doom. Everything that is normal to us is in fact very, very far away from normal. We are on full automatic and we're being controlled. And it is making us lose track of ourselves.
In a spiritual sense this would all be okay because you know, we can re-do it later. Yes, let's abuse the mysterious ways of reincarnation and ignore our potential. Why the fuck would the Universe ever want to give you a second shot at life in that case? Ah, of course, that's not how must of us think today anyway. Spirituality is for hippies.
No, exactly. So, what if there are no spiritual reincarnation kind of ways of returning, what if there is no Universe looking over us all the time, what if ..this is it?
We are such a tiny glimpse of life and momentum in this timeline of whatever.
Imagine 2000 years in the future from now. We really can't actually. What will we have (de-)evolved into?? Many people never think about this. Or only for a vague second and then decide not to.
You know why?
Because we're all so focussed on what's litterally right in front of us.
We're so unbelievably zoomed in all the time. Here we go.
Our potential 'brain vision' and complex minds are being so clutched up and away by the products we buy, the clothes we wear, the things we read, the shit we watch, the fashion we like and even the food we eat. We know more brands than starsystems. We're more staring into our television screens or computer monitors than we stare into the skies and observe the galaxy.
We are more distanced from our natural surroundings and connections with the stars than any other living lifeform on planet Earth!
We're more busy with ourselves than the ones around us. We say there's not enough time in a day and therefor, automatically, not enough time for eachother.
How much time and energy and true genuine interest and care do we truly put into the kind people around us? It's a question I also have to ask myself often. And I am working on it.
We're thinking more inwards (towards and about ourselves) in thoughts and insecurities than outwards (towards all that is around and below and above us) in feelings and possibilities and opportunities.
And with that we should really ..ZOOM the fuck OUT.
Zoom out. Out of yourself and out of your current little surrounding. Zoom out of the screen and zoom out of your house and things you are busy with. Zoom out of your tiny life. Zoom out over years. A little bit further until we can kind of, more or less, see this endless timeline of the Universe.
You see what we are? Or where we are? And what we are doing? What ARE we doing? What are YOU doing ..and Why do you do it?? Just ask yourself. There can be answers. These are not questions asked to make you wander around aimlessly. No, this is called doing an attempt to keeping your knives sharp in life.
Man, why is it many of us are so stuck in our own lives and having constant mood changes and unnecessary insecurities?? Insecurities probably brought to you by the outside world and eventually turned into something real by yourself, in your head, exclusively to you between your own two ears.
You should like this and you shouldn't look like that but you should look in the mirror every day and you should shower every day and you should put on this sexy outfit and put on this make up and this deodorant and stick this wax, gel or hairspray in your hair and you will feel way much better and secure about yourself.
Too bad that, in a very subconscious -fear level- kind of way, we become dependent upon those things. Without all these things, we dont know what to actually look like, what to wear or do and thus some of us, or you, fall into this insecurity and low self esteem (which can also show itself in a very high esteem opposite kind of presentation).
It's true, "The things you own, end up owning you" by Tyler Durden.
So, that's what I mean, we are too ZOOMED IN. And we don't even notice anymore.
We need to ZOOM OUT!
I say don't look in the mirror every day, you honestly purely look fine, just the way you are!
You know we really are human beings, no artificial strings should be attached to that!
No necklaces, no wears, no lipstick, no makeup, no nailpolish, no eyelash make ups, no fancy outfits. No slick jeans and no short 'sexy' skirts.
Female beings are so the victim of all this all the time, and most of us don't even know or care.
You're probably actually enjoying it! You think. Now, I don't blame you for it since you probably wouldn't know any better. And I truly don't mean anything more or else with those words than what I said. No sarcasm intended.
So we are too zoomed in. What is it we really want??
We can smoke joints, nicotine, do drugs and drink until the next dawn of every day and let it, even unwillingly unawarely, slow us down on long (or actually even pretty short!) terms eventually. You are being your own consumer here. Once in a while on the right occasion you can always have a blast of course but don't get me wrong, we're being spoonfed all the fucking time.
All the fucking time.
How?? Look at the brands, names or prints on the clothes we wear. Our clothes nowadays are even being pre-shaped just so we look slicker, cooler or sexier than without clothes and most of us don't even notice! We completely fall for it all. We believe it. We fool ourselves. Or we let ourselves be fooled. You pick.
We are every day walking advertisements for Nike, Gucci, Gsus or whatever brand you can think of.
Traffic and trafficlights and other signs. We obey them as much as we can. Even if there's no car waiting on the other side of the road.
Advertisements and posters on the streets, behind shop windows and on the road, we read them. We remember them subconsciously, wether we like to or not, and we live by them in our own ways. Yes, it happens! And it's fucking scary.
Fashion! Fashion tells us what to wear and what not to wear. Fashion tells us how to look and how, especially, not to look. Television and newspapers, one subject after the other, cheap thrills, quick comedy or pure terror. One of the three or all in one. As a result we're, for some reason, chained to it.
We go to supermarkets and get our food pre-packed or in plastic or in preset packages whatever. Stand in line between the barcode bleeps of the scanners and look at the oh so enthusiastic female casshier (who obviously made the dream decision of her life, sorry) while you not look her in the eye and pay it all off with folded pieces of printed paper, showing certain amounts of digits and different colours per paper. This we call money. We depend on it, all the time. It feeds on us, we feed it and we feed ourselves on it. All the time. What other choice do we have?
Once again, we're stuck in a system of gigantic lab rat a-MAZE-ment. Our movement's automatic and our language verbally injected since the day we were ever becoming kids.
All of this is normal to us nowadays. This is what we are. This is what we do. Just like certain religions, without ever questioning the damn book. And sooner or later we all accept it in our own ways.
So, symbolically seen, the system drives you around in circles in your car while you sit in the passenger seat and look out the window to see all these in-your-face objects and signs all the time while actually, ..YOU're behind the steering wheel! Or at least you should be or already thought you were. Come on and blast em out your mind vehicle and take control!
Or would you rather sit there and look all the other ways so they will make you slowly, but surely, afraid, dimmed down, time tabled, insecured and socially paranoid while driving an extra circle or two?? Because that's what's happening every time you quickly check yourself out in the mirror to see if you're still looking okay to your 'own' expectations. What the fuck does that mean anyways?? We're completely sterile and I just zoomed you straight back into it, did you notice? That's how easy it goes.
A whole world kept away from their true origins and potential and instinct, everyday by a system of control where we feel (un)comfortable in. But all of this should be nothing new to you. Just another reminder.
All this and much, much more are perfect reasons to zoom out. Analyse the sucker. It's not easy, I am still trying to grasp it all myself every day. The point is to look at what we are and what we can do in our entire living existence, especially if there's always this fifty/fifty chance of this ride being your one and only ride in life.
So, in a massive incomprehendable timeline point of view.. what would you rather spend your time on? Start thinking positive here. The only one who's stopping you is you. Not anybody else.
Are we doing what we truly want to do? Are we happy with the way we and our lives are at current day? What do you wanna go for (wo)man?? Because there's two kinds of beings eventually.
The one's that go for it and the ones that don't. The one's that chase their ultimate dreams as soon as they can and the ones that work for the hand that feeds as long as they can.
If you chase your dreams long enough a path will start to appear right in front of you and all these things will start happening and falling into place. Actually it's all already there, you just have to discover it or see it. You have to believe in it in order not to give up after the first twenty tries and fourty weeks of going for something you might be unexperienced and unfamiliar with.
Oh and really, if you already do know what you wanna do and achieve.. stop reading all these words and keep going at it! You can do it! I believe in you. You can fucking do it and you're never gonna give up. Never for anybody else, never for what they tell you and never for the world. Not even for the Apocalypse. Believe and stand behind what you do. Back yourself up, to the teeth.
What's there to lose and what's there to gain?
How much is there to lose and how much is there to gain? Hey, realistic moment. Simple answer.
Is what's there to gain bigger than what's there to lose?? Yeah? Probably so! Well now, than what are you ACTUALLY WAITING for? That one specific right day?
A song once sang to me that every day is the right day to start something new.
And the song was and still is right. Don't sit by next to all the other sheep and sleep, and I don't mean that bad.
Don't look into the mirror, look into yourself and see the potential. And act! Make a difference. Change yourself, change the world or make a dent.
Optimists don't last long.
Realistic optimists, those are the ones that go and still last a hundred miles further down the road.
A good friend of mine said that to me the other day. And you know what? It's true.
Well, I am out of words for now. But not out of actions. So I better stop talking ..and act.
I'll see you later and I'll be pleased to meet you.
I hope you don't go down of these words. If you do than please let it be to think stuff through.
Don't forget to get back up as soon as you can. Don't be a never-believer.
Whipe off that dust and try again. I'll be on your side.
We're never alone, unless we choose to be.
Please take care.
