Been laying out pages for my newspaper all day. I have enjoyed doing so because I am getting pretty good at it. This will help me at my next duty station. I really enjoy being a journalist and I especially enjoy speaking to the public about the goings-on of New River Air Station... even though I don't do that anymore. I am getting promoted on Monday, which is nice -- more money!

I am taking leave and going to Florida from Oct. 31 to Nov. 15.

Since Nov. 19 is the Marine Corps Birthday Ball for my squadron, I will only have three days to prepare.

My Dress Blues will be ready nonetheless.
