Holy Toledo, they're above 20 million total viewers again, wooooo! Just like last week, there was no adjustment upward on the Adults 18-49 rating, and a half-million viewers added to the total-viewers number. I don't know if it was because the episode was promoted as focusing on Gibbs, or if the weird timing of the scandal at Dover Air Force Base had anything to do with it. (If you haven't seen the story in the news, an Air Force investigative report released
on Tuesday said that two servicemembers' remains were mishandled and/or lost at the base, and that the officials involved had been disciplined. It appears this will play out for some time, as Defense Secretary Leon Panetta has ordered further investigation. The Air Force investigation began 18 months ago after three whistleblowers from the base made complaints about how servicemembers' remains were being handled in the mortuary.)
