NCIS tied with X Factor in the demo, but that represents X Factor's average over its two-hour episode; head-to-head from 8-9 pm Eastern, X Factor had a 3.5 rating in the demo, so NCIS beat it pretty easily. With the demo going down from last week's episode, and the total audience number increasing, that means that the audience for last night's episode skewed a tad bit older than usual. But these still are excellent numbers! Good news: I just checked the schedule, and even if the World Series goes beyond four games, there are no games scheduled for Tuesday, so our show won't have to contend with it. :-)
