For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;
they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
Psalms 91:11-12
I have never been so thankful for that truth. I know for a fact that Terri, Randy and I are living, breathing examples of that verse.
We were in a car wreck today with an 18-wheeler in the rain on the interstate. At one point in time, we were sideways in front of a fast moving 18-wheeler. After that God took the wheel and cleared the traffic. We WERE on the far left side of I-65 when it happened. By the end, we were on the right side, off of the road, PERFECTLY landed with the drivers side of the car against the guard rail.
Oh yeah, facing against the traffic.
There is no doubt in my mind that God kept us alive. We could have easily been suck up under the wheels of that truck. Neither Terri, nor I would be here or at least not here in one piece. I am so thankful for Terri. She handle it so well. I told her if I ever had to choice to be in a wreck, it would be with her and Randy. Randy kept us from crying too much. None of us are hurt. Minor bumps and bruises. I couldn't be more amazed by that.
Oh yeah. We listened to Nsync and danced.
We had fun.
The wreck did not stop me from contiuing our game of "Naner"/"Yellow Car"/"Banana". Whatever you prefer.
PEACE!
PS: That word was totally brought by Randy at Day Camp today.
How ironic? NOPE!
How? God.
