Scheduling Miniseries Rewatch

Dec 01, 2013 01:49

There is definitely some interest in the Mini Series rewatch. Now the trick is figure out when to have it. Also I'm wondering do we want to do a one night rewatch of entire Miniseries or do we want to break it in half, like it was done originally ( Read more... )

I will probably end up watching the whole thing both nights if most want to split it into two nights. Since I've only watched it streaming or on DVD, I have no idea where it was originally split, so...

And I will watch it whenever. My schedule is flexible and as long as my calendar pops up to remind me, I'll be there. :D

I've been thinking about more and more, and now I'm leaning more toward watching it all one night. I'm afraid if we split it, it'll be hard for everyone to watch it. Also watching it on DVD with no commercials makes it not terribly long. Also reading through comments may make it more difficult to split in in half.

When it split it split when Lee seemed to die on Colonial One.

As far as time goes I'd like around 9 to 9:30pm that would be best, gives me time to be able to settle in.

Same for me, I have it in one chunk, and anyway, I don't think I'd do well with the suspense, even if I already know what happens.

And I'm flexible as well for when it we do it, even though I'd appreciate if someone told me what that is European time?

I have a daughter in Italy, so once a time is settled, I can tell you what that is your time. I have a clock in my bedroom that tells me what time it is in Italy instead of here in Dallas. lol

Since ddt73 is in EST, whatever time we decide will be +6 for you. So 9pm here will be 3am for you. (That's assuming all of Europe is on one time zone? I don't actually know that for sure...)

Ah, thank you, that's awesome! Not all Europe is one time zone, but Italy probably has one or two hours difference with France, I'll try and find that out.

Edit: Turns out we have exactly the same time, how convenient. I know England's different though, one hour before us.

I think it's safe to say, unless something dramatically changes we'll be watching it all on one night (next Sunday). So far around 9pm is the time right now this could change as well. If the votes turn out to be 9 or 9:30, we could start a little late to accomodate the 9:30 people. We'll see how it goes.

This is great, we do seem to have a pretty solid consensus so far.

Looking at all the voting we'll lock into Sunday at 9pm, and we'll watch it in one night.
