Ugh, mine is feeling rather gruesomely uninspired. Rehash of canon dialogue, some kissing. Tempted to start over but I'm already 1,500 words in...

I don't like when that happens. Any way to mix things up a bit more to make it interesting or keep going to something different and scrap the beginning?

Does shifting it AU help? Sometimes that jolts things back into line for me, even if I go back to a more canon setting.
