Kara's four drinks up on him when the room begins to spin and the drink he's about to take doesn't seem like a good idea any more.
"I think I'm drunk," he slurs, managing to put an S in the middle of the sentence.
Kara laughs and throws an arm around his shoulders, her ambrosia breath on his cheek. "You're a lightweight, Adama. Knew it the moment I saw you at Charlie's." He thinks she might be slurring too, but maybe it's his ears.
A moment later her words penetrate his drunken brain and he tries to look at her but she's too close, so he stares at the arm she has flung on the table in front of him. "Charlie's? I thought we'd never met."
She leans closer, their faces nearly touching. "I never said that we met, just that I saw you." She leans away and takes a swig of ambrosia.
He can't help the smile spreading across his face and he turns, leaning in, the drink making him bold. "Like what you see, Cadet Thrace?"
Kara's mouth quirks up, eyes skimming his face and chest. “Maybe.”
