Name/Callsign: Anastashia aka Ani
Age/Location (if you want): Older than most I run across online/NEern most US, heavy snow zone
When did you know Kara&Lee were you ship? When she slid out from under the Viper.
Favorite other character(s): Helo
Favorite episodes/scenes: Lee centric, when he's nasty with a gun
Next best ships: Aeryn/John (Farscape)at least somebody got a reasonably happy ending
Beka/Tyr (Andromeda) for a anyone who doesn't know these two got far more star-crossed than Lee and Kara
Matt/Alesha (L&O: UK) I'm still trying to figure this out because I think I like these two more as easy, but very supportive friends than lovers. I don't see her with James at all though.

I'm about half way through the first season of Farscape and really enjoying it. Good to know it will not be totally frustrating.

Some of it is really crazy, like there's an insane one that Ben wrote where they use a basically Roadrunner cartoon motif for the B storyline. My favorite part though is Ben's acting in the part where he's in Graza's hands (in the 4th season). I don't want to say anything more to spoil it for you except that his intensity is breath taking.

It'll wait, and then I can start over with you cuz the muppets do take some adjustment. Although I do maintain they are better than bad digial creatures.

I'll catch up on Sons of Anarchy.

That's what took me a while to get into it, I couldn't initially get around the muppets. In some ways though they became more real to me than the random aliens played by human actors. The pilots were such wonderful chars. The relationship between John and them added so much to his characterization, yet in many ways was so simple.

I recently gave up on a couple of sci-fi things because I couldn't take the amount of CGI so I found the muppets a refreshing approach to non-humanoid characters.

I think I like him because the whole thing seems, on the surface, so OOC for him, but it's really not. Even if it isn't what he might want to do I've always seen him as very strong, and able to do what needs to be done.

Plus it's interesting the range of actions he could still take. How he managed to get what he wanted by all the way from not shooting with Zarek in Bastille Day to shooting Phelan in Black Market shows his depth. Lee could do what he had to. It's why I've never understood the fans who can't see that capacity to succeed in him.

Plus I've mentioned before I love using that dark side of his char in roleplay.

As for Matt and Alesha they have a Lee/Kara vibe in how they've both been hurt by life, but they're much more stable over all.

Aeryn and John were quite an epic ship weren't they! There was a good dose of misery between them for a long time before they did get their HEA. The Farscape fandom was another that had rather exceptional writers in it.

Yeah they don't get a bed of roses by any stretch, but at least they get an ending together.

Just started Netflixing Farscape - can definitely see Aeryn/John becoming an interesting ship to follow. At least I know they won't disappear in motes of dust.
