Well i feel obligated to post an update on the first week of school
Welcome week was fun. Too far away to remember specifics, but i remember going to a techno party, a house party, and then staying in and watching donnie darko. good times
My classes are pretty much all math related. Accounting, Physics, Computer science, and Calc 3. 16 credits of mafff...
Accounting seems like it will be pretty easy if i keep up with the work. Theres a lot of stuff to do. Study problems, practice problems, lecture problems, lon-capa problems, and another set i'm forgetting. The professor seems cool, he gives a chance for make-up exams sorta. As far as i can tell, all the material overlaps a lot. He tried to make acronyms for stuff like "Work in Progress cost" and then ran into trouble making one for "Work in Process costs"... we'll see
Physics seems alright. The prof is a funny english guy who hates the french which is entertaining. Assuming the curriculum continues where phy 183 left off, it'll be pretty hard. But maybe i'll pay better attention since i'm not in JP or Kurt's class.
Calc 3 is interesting. The first class i was in was lame, so i switched to jp/kurt/bill's lecture. My lecture room for the first class got switched twice, eventually ending in Wonders which is too far away to make it to Accounting on time. Plus the prof was impossible to understand and was 3 sections behind JP/Kurt/Bill's after 2 class sessions
CSE seems alright for now. its basically a review of discrete logic for now, but eventually it will all apply to coding. The lame thing is that there are weekly quizzes on Fridays, which means i'll never be leaving before 4pm on a Friday if i wanna go home or Tennessee :(
This weekend was labor day, which means i got to see michelle already :) I love seeing her all weekend :)
Damn Spartans lost another game by 7 points or less. I am not that mad because we played beyond horribly and were still in the game. looking back on it, i have no idea how we scored 30 points. the offense was outa sync the whole game.
I think i'm gonna go read accounting, but this Tennessee/UCLA game is very entertaining. Damn temptations...
