I went to Alegria @ the crobar last night. I've been going to those parties for way too long. I hung out wasn't with a shortage of drugs or anything. And it was just...well just.
I kept looking at all the people around me wondering what kind of people they were to go to this party. Sure they were all really having fun and sweaty and high. But they were all in there 30s or 40s and really muscular. Why do they do this? Why is there such a following in this scene?
I imagine alot of the guys there have fairly professional lives outside of alegria. It must be an escape for them, it has to be.
So I'm glad Alegria exists. I'm glad I went.
