These few hours.
I woke up at the glorious hour of 9.30...something I rarely get to do now. I'm beginning to understand why people really love days off school and work now. I know I have weekends but I relish the idea of having a weekday where I don't have work or school... I would give up my saturday morning if it meant that Sharron gave me a wednesday or a friday off.
Anyway, woke up, put on my brand spanking new Fiona Apple DVD and danced around the house to her renditions of "River stay away from my door" and "Tonight you belong to me" and then her actual album, I would have looked like a spastic if the landscaping guy appeared in the backyard and saw me doing kicks and spins in the kitchen in my boxers... Though I think secretly he would have been aroused.
I had the most amazing dream this morning..actually it was more of a section of my dream. I was in my backyard, hurling bouncy balls over my fence so my brother wouldn't be able to throw them at me (It's a dream remember, logic goes out the window), then he comes out and we start talking, I turn around and my backyard is this ENORMOUS lake, stretching out into eternity, the waters is amazingly blue and it's surrounded by these yellow flowers everywhere and all I say is "The lake looks nice this time of year"... I now want that lake to be my backyard.. NOW! Someone, please, make it so.
In about an hour or so I find out if i've won my bid on a new mobile phone, no more siemens if I win, moving onto panasonic, still keeping with the slide phones though, I seriously love slide phones now, fuck flip phones, fuck normal ones, slide phones are the shizznit and should be relished. If I don't win the mobile phone i'm probably going to look around garden city today for a new MP3 player...not to replace my old one, because i haven't had one since i bought a 128MB one when MP3 players where still "OMG! CUTTING EDGE!!!!!!"... and then it broke like anything from Taiwan does.
So now I sit here listening to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs new album, one thing MySpace is good for, streaming their whole album before it's even released, anyone who loves the yeah yeah yeahs should listen to it, Phenomena is the best song ever and deserves to be danced to like a spastic on cocaine, much hip thrusts and body spasms.
OH MY GOD! phenomena just came on! YAY! It's annoying because the player won't let you go foward or backward, only stop and play, but it makes you appreciate the whole album...but i still hold this song and "Gold Lion" above all others..
Okay, now i'm going to leave and dance before I have to return from my little 3 hour holiday and go to work.. This is Ulala signing off for Space Channel 5! *wink*
