Thirty Ninth: 'As soon as I figure out where all the doors are...'

OH goodness. I just got home from Nova Scotia and it was awesome. just AWESOME. I heart Mark, he is by far one of my mom's funniest and smartest friends and omgomgomg he has read those vampire books i have, the charlaine harris ones that have like the porny scenes and the girl named sookie and omgomgomg. We talked about them.
Laaaa.

At one point, we were all sitting in the living room chatting, and mark says he has to go up and change, right? so (this will make sense if you know my home set up) he goes through the living room to the dining room to the kitchen to the stairs...and walks bythe door not five feet away from the couch he was sitting on between the stairs and the couch...and says "As soon as I figure out where all the doors ARE..." and keeps going. Uh. hahah it was lovely. And, Mark and I owned Trivial pursuit. Mainly because god damned if we didn't get questions about america, old movies and sherlock holmes. hahaha it was lovely.

And the PARTY! Aaaah it was AMAZING. First Bob and Pam and Shelley and Mike show up(my mom's close friends) and Bob sees me and drops the bags of gifts he was carrying and said "Ok, come 'er" and LIFTED ME UP in a the hugest and most awesome hug I have had in some time. uhhh I had missed Bob. He is a multi millionaire now, actually. He sold off the 8 drug stores he owned/worked for, yaay.

Anyway, the band was wicked, and after the first set was done, the bass player andrew and Ben th singer had to go, but John stayed to play guitar and nick pulled out his fiddle and nothing rocks harder than singing 'Brown eyed girl' backed by the province's leading classic guitarist and an effing fiddle player! Yaaay! it was so much fun! And THEN i went out on the porch to the bar area and scott was sitting there and I was like "What cha doing?" and he was like "Taking a toke" and i couldn't help but laugh and leave him too it. He makes me giggle, that little scott.

Speaking of scott, I have the nude male calendar thing with Scott Brison, right? there are some really gross guys in it. However, I balanced it out by getting the Rolling Stone with Jon Stewart and Stephen colbert on the cover, and the article is hilarious and awesome!

Anyway. I have a paper to write!
