EXACTLY. Hermione is an idiot, Ron's terrified of itty bitty bugs, and Harry is EVO1 beyond BELEIF!!11!! The only book he ever voluntarily read was a book of hexes, and that was for the ultimate practical pupose of jinxing his poor abused cousin! I loved your . . . Cruciatus? Wait a moment.... Been there, done that. *sporfle*
House elves have all the luck. Oo! Oo! I know! Umbridge should become a house elf! Then she wouldn't be all sad and ugly and lonely anymore!
Well, all right, ugly is relative. House elves have very different standards of beauty than we do, anyhow. :DDDD
I just want to bring up a point. I don't think Harry is sadistic, that's a superficial way of looking at it. I think it's an outlet for his frustration and isolation and confusion because he's not the sort of person to use physical or even verbal violence on his friends. In a way he tolerates them, but he can't help but feel vindicated when unpleasant things happen to him.
I suppose you're gonna say next then that the trio aren't really friends at all. ;)
And as for slavery is freedom? You've never been in slavery so I think there'll be alot of people who would disagree with you at that point. Freedom means different things to everyone and I think what you've painted is a illusion of freedom, not true freedom.
A few moronic muggleborns? I should think if Hermione had not been in Hogwarts, Harry would still be stuck in his first mission. And as much as logically speaking, I agree with your theory, that just doesn't work. That's taking the easy way out of a matter. Then what about half-bloods?
