soooo i've been no poo for going on 2 years now...lately i've been dissatisfied with the dryness on the ends of my almost waist-length straight, henna'ed hair. i wanted to try using an oil as a conditioner...i didn't research enough (strike one), chose sesame oil because i had some handy (strike two), and used too much of it (strike three).
it is SO greasy and gross. today i tried to get it out of my ends with a lot of bs and it isn't working. i'd rather not break my shampoo-boycott but i don't know if this oil is going to come out any other way. do you guys have any natural suggestions to get oil out?
i'm afraid i'll have to result to dish detergent :(
and if anyone has suggestions for a better way of conditioning, i'm open to listening. i recently bought shikakai and citric acid crystals but i haven't tried using those yet. i was thinking about trying coconut oil as well. i need to escape this head of straw!
