Hi guys! I've been doing no-poo for about 1.5 months. I have thick, medium-length, Asian hair. It used to be super shiny while I was using conventional drugstore shampoos & conditioners with sulfates, but ever since I've been doing no-poo, my hair has been pretty dull. It's soft and I need to wash much less, but the shine is drastically reduced.
I wash 2-3 times a week with 1 tablespoon BS per 1 cup of water, and rinse occasionally with ACV in about the same ratio. I'm pretty sure my water isn't hard. I just washed my hair with BS & ACV, and it's dull, slightly rough, and slightly frizzy. I think the condition of my hair has been slowly going downhill since I began no-poo. My university begins soon, and I'm close to switching back to shampoo and conditioner D:
Is it a problem with rinsing? Should I be using additional products? What can I do to restore my beautiful shine?! Thanks SO much!
