help me fight the static!

hello all!

i'm on week 4 now of no 'poo and it's been great! my hair is nice and shiny.. but full of static. how do i get rid of this? when i run a brush through my hair it will stand up, and i can feel the static electricity all around the brush.  my dad told me to clap my hands to get rid of static, but i think he was making fun of me or something *eyeroll*

also the ends of my hair get tangled easily.  do i need to put some oil on it? what oils do you girls (mostly girls i assume) use? and how much?would it be ok to put on massage oil? i saw some massage oils that smell really good, but i'm not too sure about the ingredients and if it will come out the next time i wash my hair.

thanks!

EDIT: i have this product but here is the list of ingredients...

Cyclomethicone, Dimethiconol, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Buxus Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Limonene, Fragrance, Linalool, Citral, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Geraniol, Citronellol, Eugenol, Isoeugenol.

those things underlined, are they any good for the hair?
