it had been about 2.5 months since i first started using the flax mucilage stuff. (and yesterday was my 3 year anniversary of no'poo. yaaay!)

since my last post on jan 28th, i had stopped using ACV, because i thought that might have been linked, and my dandruff isn't really getting any better. (and i've also noticed a bunch of hair loss at the ( Read more... )

i've put tea tree directly on my scalp (whether in a rinse or using my fingertips) with no real visible effects on the dandruff.

also i had used dr. bronners a few years ago, (i may have used too much) and it freaked my hair out reeeeeal bad. it took over a month for my hair to behave.

besides, i have hard water. i've used dr. bronners on my skin and i got a film. i don't want that to happen to my scalp.

as for ACV. i'd rather not. i want to get my dandruff/hair loss problem in check before i try ACV again.

also, if i used a spray bottle, i will die from needing to squeeze the trigger so many times. the squeezy bottle is perfectly fine for me.

also, i don't want to offend you or anything, but are you getting paid by dr. bronners to mention it all over the web? it seems to be the only answer you give people. ever. and well.... it's not exactly no 'poo. sure, it's not a detergent in the scientific sense, but it does sudz, and i know it makes me uncomfortable to read your recommendations. i'm sure it makes other people uncomfortable. especially if they're joining this community to learn of non-soap options and here you are giving a suggestion to use soap. each and every time.
not everybody's hair/scalp will react to dr. bronners as well as you do. please understand that there are other options out there and they are more often than not the better option. (if only because there are many options out there)
