Tea rinse

May 09, 2008 19:18

i've been doing the APV rinse, and though it makes my hair very soft, it seems to be bad about making my roots and top of head very oily feeling. (and looking) Someone mentioned using a tea-rinse instead, i think it was green tea, but i can't find it. Has anyone tried this? How did it work out? How do you do it, just make a cup of green tea and rinse with it, or something more concentrated?

Thanks! :)

Also, my Husband gets bad dandruff this time of year, and it's happening again. He's using Chagrin Valley's Nettle shampoo bar, and following with and APV rinse. That didn't fix the problem, so we resorted to an extra rinse of Sea Breeze, (plan to change to a witch-hazel rinse soon) and it's helping, but not eliminating the problem. Any ideas or advice?

dandruff, tea
