Well, I've heard tell that it's not always so nice, but I think I can handle it. Can't be that much worse than what I left.

I've seen a lot of weird things in my time, but the ability to stop time on who knows how many different planets? That goes way beyond the rest of them, which I'm guessing probably has something to do with- whatever this place is.

The Asgard are little grey guys, but they're the good guys. The bad guys? They're a little harder to tell apart. The Aschen look just like us, if you ignore the fact that the entire species has the sense of humor of a single accountant, between them. Then, you have the snakes, the Goa'uld, who can take a human for a host. Gotta look for glowing eyes and weird echoing voices, combined with the ego of a complete maniac. They like to pretend to be gods.
