Summary: Being part of a combiner team meant crushes didn't remain hidden for long.

It had been Blades who had noticed the way things were going first, and even then he mostly saw it because he ended up in medbay the most, so he could ferret out what the slag was wrong with Aid when he wasn’t letting them find out. Mostly, he had stared, tried to see if maybe he was having a circuit relay misfiring, and then stared again at the implications showing. He then had to keep himself from just smacking sense into the idiots, though what sense he wanted them to get was not clear, because First Aid shouldn’t be having crushes, let alone on someone like the Security Director who shared that same creepy ability to appear from out of nowhere like Prowl. The blatant obliviousness of the red and white Lamborghini also made him want to forget the whole rank thing and smack Red Alert soundly in the helm to get a clue, because he was ignoring Aid in a way and that made First Aid unhappy.
When First Aid had noticed the shocked look on his face, and the attempt to derail him from what he figured out, he knew this was going to take more then a helping hand of the actual and physical variety. He was going to have to tell Hot Spot. Of course he didn’t get up and do so, that was the wonder of the gestalt, he just let it be open and the entire team knew and were either poking First Aid in surprise or plotting.
So it was with a great amount of amusement and confusion as the rest of the Ark watched Streetwise tackle Red Alert and ask him to answer his questions truthfully with the teary optic look that could make even the twins cave in and do what Streetwise wanted.
‘Wise never did get to ask the main question because First Aid had gone and tackled his brother off of Red Alert and it had quickly escalated into some odd free for all while Ratchet dragged a sparking Red Alert to medbay.
