it's nice to be into battlestar galactica again. i never stopped liking it but i'm pretty much in love again, especially after "downloaded", my favorite episode of the entire series.

Yeah, "Downloaded" was pretty good stuff. I wish Lucy was a regular cast member. I mean, I doubt she's very busy these days.

I agree, I never stopped liking it, but those three or four stand-alone episodes were just not up to par.

i think she's signed on to be in a shit ton of episodes next season.

i liked the stuff with the pegasus and even the one with the new captain dying, mostly because i like the ship's big guns. but yeah, there were some standalone duds. i'm sure a bad episode of the show is still better than a season of lost.

Are you trying to bait me into an argument about LOST? It won't work.

The arc with admiral cain was, i thought, spectacular. I kind of felt disappointed that they re-wrote her to make her REALLY evil and less complicated, but it was still great television.

And LOST is bomb.

How else does one begin an argument or debate than by stating their own opinion?

But of course, I was kidding. Bygones!

Are you of those who miss the mythological stuff in BSG, which has been greatly relegated to the back burner, or would you be happy if it never came up again?

i enjoy stating my opinion for reasons other than debate.

:D

well, i sort of liked it but i don't like the people on the teleivion without pity message boards who talk about it a lot. i don't like it when they talk about a lot of things, really. i'm curious to see where the show will go with earth and appollo and the gods but i don't think the writers are paying extremely close attention to it. what about you?

I like it, but I liked it when it wasn't so literal, when it helped make the politics in the show more of a mirror of our own socio-political landscape (though the abortion episode was a little too obvious). I liked the President being the "dying leader", but I liked her asserting that she was, and having possibly drug-induced "visions". I'm not as into magickal holograms from the gods and stuff. I'm more interested in the political ramifications of her not being the dying leader any more.

Do I sound like the TVwoP creeps? I hate them, too.

i'm fairly convinced that baltar is having a six-induced vision -- i don't buy for a second the story that roslyn went back to being a teacher while letting baltar fuck-up the civilian infrastructure.

i also don't buy the fact that lee got fat and that adama grew back his moustache... i think something is very fishy...
