Under a cut for potential spoilers.

Okay, so this episode is called "The man who knew too much". It was written by Kripke. Who said something about the series ending with an unexpected turn...

From Ausiello: Series creator Eric Kripke warns that the season is “building to a left hook that I don’t think [fans will] see coming. We will bring all of this mythology to a head. We bring purgatory to a head. We bring the war in Heaven to a head. We bring the mother of all monsters - the wall in Sam’s head - to a head. All of it does come together, but I think in a way that’s really unexpected and surprising and really great.” Speaking of that ticking time bomb in Sam’s noggin, how does Kripke (who penned the finale) plan to resolve that? “You don’t want to blow it off,” he says with a laugh. “You don’t want him to be a drooling vegetable on the floor either because that’s not super-exciting to watch last I checked. But I think it’ll be good. I think it’ll be really powerful and emotional. Hopefully, the fans will enjoy it.”

Erm- there was hardly an ending I enjoyed at SPN. I never imagined Sam as a drooling vegetable- there are worse things for him in store, I guess. I really don´t know what to expect, but the boys have been through hell, so I don’t think they will be treated nicely this time. But what happens when Sam’s wall crashes? How will it affect him? He will be hit by unimaginable pain, suffocating images, the knowledge of what he did while his soul was gone… Sam was always one to try and make up for his mistakes. He does that now. But how can a human being deal with memories and feelings (!) of Lucifer and a battle with Michael in Hell?!

Heroes had an ending that would have allowed the series to continue (which it didn’t) or end on an open note (which it did). Will it be the same with SPN? Why don´t we have word yet about a 7th season? I am worried. Jensen said if he was into gambling he would bet money on a continuation, but that were just his own opinion. So… I can’t stand to lose another beloved character. Not again. Heroes, you broke my fandom heart forever.

On a lighter note: I am going to a 30 Seconds to Mars concert in August!!! Yay!!! They are only playing two concerts in Germany (Mannheim is one of the places- seems to be a place of interest since the SPN-Con in May is being held there, too…), and I have never seen them live, but from what I watched on YT they seem to be powerful and energetic. And Jared’s voice is as beautiful as his face. (And YES, I do find him beautiful. Very much so.)
