[Ritsuka is looking rather old. Twenty-three to be exact. He remembers everything and he's realized that things aren't going quite right. I am your brother. I think the Mansion's event made you little and made me big.

[There's a long pause and a sigh. Then the mumble of 'I wish the mansion had made me little too']

You're in the mansion Seimei. You probably don't remember anything that's happened because you're little now. The mansion does things to everyone. They call them events and they come from people's memories. I don't know who's memory this is from but because of it everyone is getting bigger or smaller. I guess when you get smaller you lose your memory.

[This is Seimei, so he's probably near the kitchen ... or a computer where he can play video games. Ritsuka remembers ... before Seimei told him about beloved, before he died, that Seimei really liked computer games. He'd stay up late while Ritsuka would fall asleep in the bed watching him. Seimei always looked happy when he was playing his video game. He'd always look back and smile at him.]

There are really bad people here, and ... and I'm the big brother right now so I have to take care of you.

[There's a little giggle as Seimei doesn't believe that Ritsuka really is Ritsuka for a moment.]

I don't believe that you're Ritsuka, Mister older Ritsuka. That's a really silly lie. Ritsuka is small and I'm the big brother. I don't know if I like this game but I'll play until I don't like it anymore.

You are the big brother stupid. You're little right now and I'm stuck being big. So I have to take care of you. I don't want brother getting hurt.

[He's frowning, trying to think of how to describe Hibari and the Major. They're the two biggest threats ... mostly the Major for now. Hibari's just a jerk mostly.]

The person you need to avoid no matter what is a fat ugly guy. He's called the Major. He's a nazi and he'll hurt you if you get near him. He's smart though so he might set a trap or something.

The other one's called Hibari. He's stupid and annoying and violent. He carries tonfa and likes to beat people up.

[The words come out rather annoyed. He doesn't like this part of the game. 'Ritsuka' is being mean! Seimei scurries off down a hall from his sitting spot on the stairs.]

[Ritsuka hears that and starts running. Thanks to the freak chip still stuck in his body making him faster and sharper sensed. He can thank the Major for one thing at least ... not that he will.]

Can I even speak when you're that are?! Seimei's not being logical. Why can't Seimei be the big brother! Stupid Mans- [Ritsuka's just running and still hasn't mastered running this fast and looking where he's going while having a child-like hissy fit. The adult Seimei would probably have found this endearing ... but the thought is lost on Ritsuka as he trips over something and feels a small body. He thinks fast as his harms wrap around the body and hold tight while he rolls so he's not squashing the kid. He's pouting though.]

I'm sorry I called you stupid. I'm just ... really upset about the event. [He gives him another quick but not squishing hug.] I'm sorry. I'm really sorry Seimei. Seimei's not stupid. [His upper face is in Seimei's hair. The older/younger boy smells like a memory that Ritsuka can't hold onto.]

[Seimei squeaks as he's tripped over and flails about trying to get Ritsuka off of him. However once he realizes that it's Ritsuka, he lets him hold him while he pouts.]

You really are Ritsuka. Ritsuka does that. He talks in that funny way sometimes. Don't call me stupid it's not fair.

[When Ritsuka hears Seimei call him Ritsuka he seems to relax a little. He's just ... really happy that he's allowed to be Ritsuka. He doesn't let go though, just hugs his brother tight.]

I'm sorry. It's been really bad for a really log time. I'm glad Seimei forgot. Does Seimei want to go find some video games?

[The little sacrifice can't hold still for very long and starts to squirm anxiously. It's a bit much for someone so young. He almost lets Ritsuka off the hook with the mention of the games but it worries him.]

Really bad? What's been really bad? Why are you sad?

[He might be small but he's a big brother. Seimei pats Ritsuka's head a bit then kisses his nose.]

Don't be sad Ritsuka. I don't like it.

[Ritsuka nods, but he doesn't tell Seimei about what's happened. He carefully gets to his feet and holds out his hand to Seimei.]

We can go to a tea room so Seimei can play video games.

[He wanted to keep his brother out in the open as little as possible. Who knew what this event had done to the Major.]

[Seimei takes his hand. Who cares if there are dangerous people that's what people who protect kids are for dammit!]

[It's the first time in a long time that anyone has seen Ritsuka smile. He doesn't remember Seimei at this age, but he sounds the same as he was before he left. Calm and mature. Seimei always knew better.]

[Seimei is happy to Ritsuka smile. He doesn't know it's been sometime since he's seen it but a smile from little brother is as good at twenty something as it is now.]
