(no subject)
So, this week has officially killed me. Here is how my schedule went:
Monday - off for Labor Day
Tuesday - Obstetrics lecture from 9 - 4
Wednesday - OB lecture from 9 - 4 again
Thursday - OB lecture from 9 to noon, a med calc test from 1:30 - 2:30, then clinical from 4 - 9:30
Friday - Skills Lab from 8:30 - 3:30
While all of this was going on, Bryan has been staying at home because of his cyst, so I have been going over there every night. My cats realize this and decide to knock everything down in my entire house because they are pissed off. The schedule above may not look that bad, but in fact, it actually is. Eveything that we learned the entire week was new material, including how to do an IV, how to do injections, how to draw blood, how to do all of the exams on a pregnant mommy, and during the lectures, we learned everything that has to do with a having a baby (from conception all the way through labor). This might not even seem that bad until I realize that I have test over all of the lecture material on Tuesday and I have to know how to do all of the lab stuff BY THURSDAY!!!!!!!
Just kill me now...
Monday starts my regular schedule of :
Monday: Acute from 9 - 12, Family Nursing from 2 - 5
Tuesday: OB from 9 - 12
Wednesday: Clinical at MD Anderson from 6:45 - 3:15
Thursday: Clinical at LBJ (yes, the one in the ghetto) from 3:00 - 11:00
Friday: Absolutely nothing!
Well, I am going to go eat breakfast now.
