I moved into my new apartment today. I must say, I love the place. I have a view outside of green...grass, trees, etc. It's white and simple...and beautiful.
And mine.
My cat is adjusting well, too. And the DSL is hooked up and flying like it should be. I will be living without cable, but joined netflix to compensate. I figure it may be better for me to watch good movies that just staring at MTV all day long to occupy my brain for no reason at all.
Can't sleep...there is so much work to do when moving...
And...I MUST FIND A JOB.
A few people asked why I didn't consider retail. Well, when I was 16 (I am now 24) I shoplifted from a department store and got caught. I was put on something called the "National Merchant's Association" and every time I apply at a retail setting, that comes back to bite me in the ass...so I don't even try anymore.
Another problem...when I was sick I got into a lot of trouble with credit cards. (By just saying 'a lot' I am severly underestimating all that happened.) If an employer checks credit (like a temp agency would, or most retail chains, or offices) then I am fucked.
I got my last job because I knew the pharmacist. I was lucky as hell to be where I was, even though I was miserable. There really is no way out...I may have to move closer to a Drug Mart when Cobra is done with in six monts to work there. It's all I can get at this point.
This process has been going on for about a month now...finding a job...
*screams uncontrollably*
