I never thought that I'd be saying this on the eve of a match against Ravenclaw, but some of you Gryffindors make that pink-clad nancing twat look positively sane. When your founder instilled the concept of chivalry into your house, he obviously forgot a few crucial points that go along with it. NAMELY THE CONCEPT OF WINNING GRACIOUSLY which I hope we do tomorrow.

Do not charm giant glowing "L's" to follow around Boot and his friends. Do not sing dirty and appallingly bad songs about how Ravenclaws apparently can't get any in the library. You'll get something in a minute if you don't shut up, but sadly for you it won't have anything to do with fit birds. Do not ruin Morag's essay. Do not hex little fourth year girls' hair to turn scarlet and gold. And above all, DO NOT REFER TO MY GIRLFRIEND AS "LOSING LOONY!" Do not make fun of her in any way, shape or form. I like her just the way she is and if you think otherwise, then that's your fucking problem. And if I catch you saying so, you'll have even bigger problems.
I'm beginning to think that Jones had the right idea after all. In fact, if I witness any of the above again - particularly the last item - I may enlist in her help to dispose of your remains.

I pity Granger, Patil, the sane Creevey and anyone else in your house who are actually keeping some dignity about this and who are forced to be associated with the rest of you. Doesn't it make you wonder when the giggling gossip queen is currently being one of the more sensible creatures to emerge from Gryffindor Tower? As to our game, while I would not do Corner's lot the disrespect of claiming that we will win, I will say that whatever house does so will be able to show you a thing or two about being victorius with class and style.
Hufflepuff team, make sure you get to the Great Hall by 8:00 am so that you have enough time to eat a big meal and allow your stomachs to settle. I'll see you in the changing room at 9:30 sharp, but I'll be there beforehand if anyone wants a word.
