Since it seems that the Navigation Strip was turned on for everybody today or yesterday, here is a reminder:

You can disable it by going to the Viewing Options page and unchecking the two boxes below 'Navigation strip display options ( Read more... )

I run the script so it was showing up for a fraction of a second then disappearing, I am using the beta interface (I do like it) and I could not find how to turn it off, so I looked through the FAQ. I wonder if new people will just think its permanent?

Some of them do complain anyway. Not a good day for volunteers me thinks.

People who had it auto-turned-on get a note in the top right corner with info on how to configure/remove it, to avoid that exact problem.

I could swear you warned us about this?

Since foxfirefey cannot answer right now, could you edit entry to mention that you'll turn comment back on soon? I understood that that was what was going to happen.

Actually, did you one better and turned 'em back on; I did turn comment notifications off, though -- I can't keep up with all the different sources of comments I'm getting about this :( -- so feel free to email me if there's anything you want me to chime in on, and I'll take a look.

Thanks a lot. That was what I had initially suggested to fox in fact but considering I am barely coherent I didn't want risking making another comment.

Awful English! Sorry.

And yes I am also sleep deprived and talking in another language is becoming more and more difficult.

No worries; for the record, I think your English is great! :)

Why, thank you. Let's say it can be. ;-)

Yes, and when I read that, I went and turned it off. Why did they turn it back on AGAIN? How many times is this going to happen?

I turned it off back then.

I checked all my journals yesterday and turned it off in all of them.

This morning, it was turned on in journals that it was turned off in last night.

How many times is this going to happen? I run an RPG with 190 journals in it and am responsible for 70. This literally eats HOURS of my time.

I remember seeing that. It was a link to the page I was on, and when I clicked on it the page reloaded with said link removed from the nav strip and all subsequent nav strips. I had to search elsewhere to find the page where I could actually turn it off.
