Almost at the finish line...
So. Finals week. I finished every final except for choir, which is tomorrow morning, and because it's my only final, I get to leave school at 9:30. :) SO looking forward to doing nothing all day. I'll probably go to Taylor's or something, to celebrate the end of our semester. I got better grades than I hoped for- only two B's, in Algebra and American Lit, the rest A's. This is the best I've done in all of high school, which makes me proud of myself on some level. I think this really is my year.
Tomorrow night I'm going to see a ballet with my mom, Lauren and her mom, our birthday present to Lauren. The Friday I'm not doing anything, really, and Saturday morning I start my US History class at the community college (second semester, I already did the first half). Sunday's my dad's birthday party, meaning that my brother and sister and I have to make some kind of speech...no clue what I'm doing for that. Sunday evening I have my first rehearsal for Glass Slippers at the Wishing Well Trailer Court, a world premeire musical at my theater. After rehearsal there's teen open mic night, which I use as a performance outlet for my Broadway songs.
I'm so happy this semester's over, seriously. I need this 4 day weekend to detox.
And randomly- I just bought Laura Bell Bundy's CD, which is country, and it amazes me how talented she is. She can go from being insanely AMAZING as Elle in Legally Blonde to having a perfect country voice. I'm seriously astounded that I got to be in the same room as her last weekend. :)
