Today at work wasn't too bad. We lost power around 11:00 and it stayed
off until like 1:00. For that time all we could give people was cold
sandwiches and salads. That was pretty easy. I don't know what it was
but today I was like dying. I couldn't keep up, I was wicked hot, and
my knees were killing me. When 4:30 finally rolled around I was so
glad, I punched out and drove to my aunt's house so I could take a
shower and change before we all went to Wright's Farm. All that lovely
family shit went down and then near the end of our meal my cousin
Zachary was like "Craig, do you think Simple Plan is the greatest band
in the world too?", which sparked a discussion between him and I as to
what good music was. He was all about the pop punk and screamo trash
that's out there, and I was talking about actual good music. Not just
metal, but everything that isn't absolute shit. Granted some of those
songs are wicked catchy. Maybe I should give him a break, he's only 12
but when I was 12 I at least had somewhat of a clue as to what was
good. I listened to Incubus then, and Limp Bizkit did have some pretty
good guitar work at some points. I don't know, when he said that Simple
Plan was the best band in the world I almost
swallowed a frisbee.
One day he'll figure it out. I tried to french braid my mom's hair
tonight, I figure I need to learn someday seeing as how in the future I
will end up being a dad and I want the little girl I'll have to have
some killer french braids. I'm trying to get my aunt to pay for another
tattoo I want, I think this one will be a back piece. I'm thinking a
couple of egyptian gods, maybe Wepwawet and Isis. Who knows. I'm still
very serious about wanting a band. I have a little system worked out
too. If I can't find another guitarist I can just do without and play
in E-standard or E flat and if I can get another guitarist but no
bassist we'll just play in drop-c because once you're that low it all
sounds the same. Well I'm gonna go eat some cookies, poop, write down
some words for songs and then go to bed
love peace and chicken grease
