Mother Theresa was a saint, Pope John Paul II again waaas a saint. Francis of Ascisi was.
Saints = people who bring us closer to God's will, or inspire us to do good. The dead may inspire us and help us try to remeber to do better but the living good people around us illustrate sainthood much more than the past saints ever could.

Thanks to all the saints I know. I hope I can get through the day now. (PS I didn;t say that to bash mother Theresa or the good Pope, I just think they are now better saints out there. Its hard for people to identitfy goodness through things they can't really see.)
(Who know hell I could be one.....but that's a silly notion.)
