've let to many tears fall
for an unknown cause

i've let to many friends go
for unjust reasons

i've let to many lights fade
for actions i cannot take back

but worst of all
i've let down a friend
for which i will never be able to forgive myself

i feel so confused,
so complicated,
so upset,
so alone
and as my tears roll out of my eyes,
and as the knots turn in my stomach
i wait for the phone to ring
