First Impressions
I suppose it's time to put something in here. Yesterday aside, I think it's rained every day since I got here. What fun. I think there's a hurricane or something. Another thing they don't tell you about when you apply is the NYU Aerobics Program or, in other words, the disadvantages of being on the 14th floor. Mleh, my legs hurt. That said, I've liked just about everyone I've met here and my roommate's cool.
Intro to Japan looks like fun. The Professor canceled our recitation for the week (meaning I don't have to get up at 7 tomorrow, yayfor.) and on Thursday we watch Princess Mononoke. Yes, I think this class and I are going to get along juuust fine.
Writing the Essay... Well. It could be worse. I didn't really have high hopes from the beginning. I mean, just look at the course title. But the guy teaching it seems nice enough, at least, and we only have to write three essays all year (yes, they're seven pages each, but it's still only three of them).
In parting, I leave you with a haiku:
