r.i.p. heath ledger
i read a whole lot of garbage on the net. i'm a celebrityphile and my surfing rounds include perezhilton.com, justjared.com .... people. it's digusting. and i can't help myself.........................................??? which is why today i'm gonna put this into words: i will no longer read about celebrities on the internet. heath ledger's death made me feel like shit. and not just because he died but because i was one of those assholes waiting to see a picture of a devestated michelle williams. i felt like shit because i found out about his death at probably the same time as his family because of the internet. seriously, what the hell is wrong with us? something is seriously wrong and starting today, no more celebrity gossip from me. unless it's from john mayer's blog. or posh spice's blog. now that i think about it, i respect them for reaching out to their fans and taking control of what sort of information is spread about them. or at least trying because let's face it- these days, there's not much control about that anymore. you know that thing that girls start doing in grade three? where they are interested in their girlfriend's business and for some reason, everyone has to know everything and be informed? these days, the internet's just making it too easy for people to not grow up. so i guess i'm saying since this is my year for growing up, here goes nothing.
