Merry, Happy, Wonderful

Christmas is always such a joy. :)

Christmas Eve was spent on a houseboat in Seattle with my uncles, aunts and cousins from my dad's side of the family. It's strange, not having the aged and wise presence of my grandmother there, but she had a beautiful portrait set up on my aunt's cabinet, so it was like she was observing our merry season, a little. Uncle Bruce gave me my third "Plasma Flasher" (those glass balls that glow and give you static hair) in a row. I think he bought a couple dozen of them a few years ago and thinks that they're the coolest gift for his niece. Either way... if you want a plasma flasher, let me know. It's yours.

My family went and saw "Juno" (again, as my dad and I saw it a few days ago) after lunch with Dad's fam. Great movie. :) I've got a list of others I'd like to see, too: Sweeney Todd, I Am Legend, Enchanted... probably a few more. I love the December, pre-Oscars movie spew.

Christmas was great! It SNOWED! I have never had a Christmas where it snowed! We drove into Snohomish to spend time with my mom's side of the family, and it SNOWWWWED. And then Mom got called and she didn't have to go to work, and there was delicious food, and my cousins were adorable... and my Grambi actually gave me presents that I'll use! Last year, I got leather boots with 4" heels. This year? JUMPER CABLES. I was thrilled.

All in all, it was a beautiful holiday! I got some fun clothes to keep me warm, a hilarious new hat (silly Mom) and GUITAR HERO. I'm looking forward to rocking out with Charity when she comes over for the end of break!

I hope you all were able to spend time doing the things you love most!

OH. Mom got an iPhone for Christmas (as her old mobile phone is 4+ years old) and I've been having a blast teaching her how to use it. She's really excited about it, which is fun to see. Dad's trying to coax her to embrace Apple so he can buy her a computer that doesn't suck.
