OMG GAWD GUISE DID YOU SEE THAT SHIT!? (I.E. I JUST SAW INCEPTION)
Well, my mind isn't so much blown as it's pleasantly relaxing in that endorphin-induced feeling you get when you walk away from a great movie.
And then a little bit blown because omg.
Lol, yes, I totally sound like someone who's jumping on the Inception!Hor bandwagon. I've been wanting to go see this movie for weeks because I'm basically a movie-slut for anything Christopher Nolan does and I've had a crush on Joseph Gordon Levitt back when I was just a small thing watching 3rd Rock From the Sun because he was the only character I could relate to as he was the youngest, but nobody was interested in watching it with me :C I also have a great respect for Leonardo DiCaprio and that’s saying something because I was there back when he was 'The Thing' and everybody gushed over him so hard it's not a surprise there was a rush of teen pregnancy. Picture the age of the Twilight boys ten years back and that's how it was like. At least to me in my crazy-ass school. But now I appreciate him for the talented and capable actor that he is. And man - oh man, I have downloaded bought a load of Hans Zimmer's soundtracks before because I love them so much and this one is absolutely no exception.
If people are expecting a M. Night Shyamalan movie, don't. Inception isn't about the twist so much as the whole movie is a twist. Down to its roots it's a well acted, well scripted and well directed film that isn't there to 'omg shock you' as it's meant to get you to think a little bit more than your average movie. I enjoyed immensely and I'm looking back to all the things that there was about it that I didn't catch the first time. I think what I loved most about it though was that it's quite obvious a lot of thought and hard work went into it and I appreciate the Nolan walks the line between a cheap thrill/shock value and treating his audience like dunces or even worse, 'artsy'.
