Spoiler (W)HORDE Part Two (now w/ some very minor updates)

Jul 13, 2010 22:17

Once again compiling all the spoilers on S6 I've heard this past couple weeks. Most likely nothing new but you never know. Also a lot of speculation and vids because I can't help myself on both occasions.

~ MISHA COLLINS was spotted on the Supernatural set for what is assumed to be the filming of the first episode of the season.

~ Misha, however, was not on set for Jensen's directorial debut, 'A Weekend at Bobby's' 6.04 and Castiel will not be in that episode confirmed by Mr. Collins at the NJ Con this weekend in this video (aka, the video that Misha admits to a whole crowd that he want's to "Fuck with Jensen" true words, gurls, true words and no I'm not taking that quote any other way). Misha also talks about Jared being sparse in the episode as well which he commented was to help Jensen out. I assume that Dean wont being making too much of a pretty appearance either as he's be behind the camera rather than in front. :c As they said, this truly will be a Bobby-Focused episode.

~ Mark Shepperd (Crowley) will be in 6.04 'A Weekend at Bobby's' as he was seen looking smooth in his dark Crowley suit on set. It makes sense that an episode focusing on Bobby would have his boyfriend. c;

~ If you haven't heard the OT3 JMJ story (this video is Misha's response to it, pretty funny and witty as ever) yet than you probably don't know about the return of Fred Lehne, the actor who played YED (aka, Azazel) . It is assumed that his return will only be for one episode and an episode involving Cas (he mentioned Misha so I guess that means he had the pleasure of meeting him). His one episode run will most likely be 6.01.

~ The identity of Christan is reveled! He is Sam and Dean's father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate cousin from their mother's side. A Campbell. Christian will be played by Corin Nemec who I know mostly from Stargate: SG1 (and one really boring SyFy original movie) as Jonas Quinn. Christian will be a recurring character along with his Uncle (?) Samuel Campbell played by Skinner Mitch Pileggi. Also, randomly, I feel like I should put my money on that Christian is a Hunter consider his whole family was too. In case that idea had yet to pop in someone's mind.

I think that the thing mostly strange about this casting is that we got Micheal Shanks (another SG1 actor and actually the one that Corin replaced in Season Six) in one late episode of last season where he was in it a whole five minutes (a huge waste) and now we've got Corin who's going to be in a far bigger part. Either someone has the better agent or our casting crew is pretty poor. I'm not saying anything about Corin's ability, he's fine, it's just makes more sense if those roles where switched in my opinion.

Casting Spoilers:

THIS EPISODE CASTING LIST HAS YET TO BE CONFIRMED AS TRUE OR AT LEAST ACCURATE BY A RELIABLE SOURCE SO TAKE IT ALL WITH A GRAIN OF SALT.

SUPERNATURAL, Eps# 601
Episodic
Studio: WARNER BROS.
Network: CW
Episode #601
Draft: 6/14/10

[JOEY] Male, suggest 12 to 13 years. Smart, outgoing and brave. Please denote age next to your suggestions... GUEST STAR, RECURRING ROLE.

~ This is kind of freaky because not only is that my little brother's name but it is his age as well. 0__o Dood. I don't understand a kid having a Guest Star/recurring role other than Ben or Jesse the AntiChrist and either has me groaning in dnw-vill. Kids + Supernatural = No sense at all. So, yeah, confusion in part of this.

SUPERNATURAL, Eps# 602, "Exile on Main Street"
Episodic
Studio: WARNER BROS.
Network: CW
Episode #602
Draft: 6/24/10

[CHRISTIAN] 40s (suggest late 30s - 40s), capable, he's good at his job and is condescending...GUEST STAR, RECURRING ROLE (20)

~ So Christian makes his grand entrance in 6.02 which has me greatly confused because wasn't the premiere episode of Season Six was meant to be titled 'Exile on Main Street'?? And yet they have it listed as the second. Hurm. Also, it seems like Christian is going to have the good ol' charm we're expected of the Winchester boys with the 'condescending' mark in his character description. Yay. Another smartass.

[GWEN] 30s (suggest late 20s - 30s), warm, direct. She tries to lighten things up during a tense situation...GUEST STAR, RECURRING ROLE (20)

~ Whenever I see a woman's role at this age I think of 'love interest', or what Supernatural tries to force down our throats as a 'love interest'. Perhaps Sammy just needs a girl in his life whenever he's angsting about being away from his brother? I'm thinking either a Ruby replacement (if only in occupation) or one of Lisa's friends.

[MARK] The silent type. He may not speak much, but he is observant and approachable...Principal role, possible GUEST STAR (4) RECURRING ROLE

~ They don't have an age for this guy, hurm.

[SID] 40ish (suggest late 30s - 40s), a decent, likeable, average guy...GUEST STAR (4)

[HOT WAITRESS] Slightly edgy, hot waitress with a tattoo on one upper arm...7 lines, 3 scenes (8)

[MAGGIE] 12-13ish, straightforward, a bit outspoken, Maggie is with a bunch of kids at a makeshift campfire in the woods. She and Joey like each other. Please denote age next to your suggestions...1 speech & 1 line, 2 scenes (1)

[GIRL] This 12-13 year old girl sits with a bunch of friends around a makeshift campfire in the woods. Please denote age next to your suggestions...1 line, 1 scene (1)

[BETHANY] Sid's wife, suggest 30s. We see on the back deck having convulsions...non speaking Actor role, 2 scenes

[JOHNNY] He is on a stakeout when his viciously attacked...non speaking Actor role, 2 scenes

~ First Impression: Idk because I'm still confused by the title and numbering on this episode. Although this does seem to be the time when all the Guest Staring/Recurring Roles start to pop up.

SUPERNATURAL, Eps# 603, "Two And A Half Men"
Episodic
Studio: WARNER BROS.
Network: CW
Episode #603
Draft: 7/9/10

[GRANNY] A friendly old granny, she sees Sam and Dean trying to deal with a wailing baby, and helps. But in fact, she's not what she appears to be...10 lines, 2 scenes (19)

~ The granny is evol, also they literally label her as granny. lol.

[MANAGER] The night manager of a motel,...7 lines, 1 scene (28)

[EX-HUSBAND] A bartender, he's the emotional ex-husband of a woman who has recently been found murdered...2 speeches & 7 lines, 1 scene (25)

[BIG MALE SHOPPER] This big male shopper sees that Sam and Dean are trying to hurt an old Granny, and he springs to her defense...1 line, 1 scene (21)

[WOMAN] This terrified woman is the mother of a young baby that is the target of kidnappers...Actor role, teaser, 2 scenes (1)

[PIZZA GUY] This pizza guy drops off a delivery order...1 line, 1 scene (4)

[COP] Gives a quick rundown on the latest case...4 lines, 1 scene (6)

[COP / IMPOSTOR] This cop relates info for a stolen car...1 speech, 1 scene (22)

~ First Impression: Why a crack/filler episode so soon? Unless sometime the movie Two Men and a Baby and the sitcom Two and a Half Men became prolific and dealing with the chaos of an ungoverned Hell and Heaven when I wasn't looking. Also it seems that this was the first episode written/got the okay since the finale, the draft date is 7/9/2010. But perhaps this will be a moral story; don't trust a granny!

List of S6 Episode Titles:

s06e01; Untitled - Plot: Unknown. Assume Team Free Will reunion.

s06e02; Exile on Main Street (?) - Plot: Samn'Dean's cousin Christian makes his first appearance along with other players. Otherwise story unknown.

s06e03; Two and a Half Men - Plot: A woman is killed in the teaser (opening scene) and her baby is the target of kidnappers. Sam and Dean end up with/ having to deal with the child at some point in the story. A 'granny' who seems nice enough offers to help them with their little bundle of joy but ends up being reveled as a baddy possibly a monster. Sam and Dean attempt to rid her in a shop but are interrupted by a good Samaritan. There is also pizza involved somewhere.

s06e04; A Weekend at Bobby's - Plot: Bobby-centric and features little of Samn'Dean and no Castiel. Bobby's neighbor, Macy Ward (Jennifer Aspen) an attractive down-to-earth single woman, has a crush on him. It must be the hat. The episode has a scene featuring Bobby's twu luv Crowley in a secluded child's park/playground, Marcy Ward and Bobby being covered in blood and guts, Jody Mills the town sheriff making an appearance and a grand 'all out major fight scene' featuring our hero Bobby Singer.

Tweets from our actors on this specific episode,

List of New Recurring Characters:

The big ones,
SAMUEL CAMPBELL  (Mitch Pileggi) Sam and Dean's dead Grandfather from their Mother's side.

CHRISTIAN CAMPBELL (Corin Nemec) Sam and Dean's older cousin from their Mother's side.

LISA BRAEDEN (Cindy Sampson) That one chick.

BEN (?) We haven't actually heard word about Ben but it's been speculated that Lisa is going to be recurring for a few episodes so we can assume we'll see Ben around too.

Others,
GWEN (?) A woman around the same age as Samn'Dean. No noticeable relation of any kind to the brothers.

JOEY (?) A young boy. No noticeable relation of any kind to the brothers.

MARK (?) A guy who doesn't speak much. No noticeable relation of any kind to the brothers.

So it's been a while since we've got so many new characters. I'm pretty sure that everyone who was recurring (other than the Four Hours Men, Crowley and Lucifer) we had already been introduced to in Season Four. Adam in 'Jumping the Shark', Zachariah in 'A Terrible Life' and our favoritest angel we've had for a whole two seasons. In point, they were all characters we were used to so I kind of understand people's reluctance in accepting the fresh meat. Especially when there's so much of it. But this is supposed to be a new era of Supernatural so we should be expecting some major changes. What gets me flustered is that I'm still holding expectations that this new season will be focusing and fixing the relationships of our Winchester family: Sam, Dean, Cas and Bobby. And these spoilers don't shed a flattering light on those expectations. But, we shouldn't go get out the torches and pitchforks just yet, Season Six has yet to air and then we can slam our gavels down. For now we can only speculate with a half-full or half-empty glass of your choosing.

Extras,

~Sera called the season "Steering towards the format of the early seasons with lots of meat-and-potatoes closed-ended episodes, and...a season-long story arc to weave in." Whatever that means.

~For those of you who are in the worry I'd like to clear that Misha Collins will continue to be a series regular as Castiel. Also, as a bonus, Jim Beaver (Bobby) will finally undertake the 'series regular' title this season alongside our pretty boys!

~ Remember Jared and Misha's car war? Well hear it from Misha himself.

~ This is my favorite video of all. Being a huge Leverage fan Aldis Hodge always earns a squee from me and Matt Cohen (Young John Winchester) :UNF: posing as Misha Collins is cute and funny. And then Misha himself. Okay, hold on while I COMPLETELY FANGASM ABOUT THESE THREE BEING ON STAGE TOGETHER. :D
