I'll give you some advice from someone who has been through it before. I don't wanna preach or even change your mind (good for you that you're moving out!), but I'll just give you my perspective on that kinda thing.

I was suppose to move in with someone after being with them for over 3 years. Shit fell apart and crumbled RIGHT BEFORE we were about to sign a lease - and all I can say is that I'm glad it did because getting locked into a year agreement with someone you fight with all the time wouldn't have been fun.

I lived with a boyfriend for a few months and it was wonderful. Remember that if he's the type not to want to pick up laundry, wash dishes and/or put shit away and that kind of thing even SLIGHTLY bothers you, it's gonna start MAJOR arguments. It's crazy how something so small and petty can start an argument. It's because the little things trigger things you're keeping deeper inside. Seems like the best way to get rid of all the arguing is just to be real w/ eachother ALL THE TIME, even if it makes the other one kind of upset. Get rid of the big issues first and the little ones won't matter, like theyre suppose to not matter. :)

WELL GOOD LUCK.

yeah. thanks for the advice but it kind of has an ironic twist...we're known each other for 10 years. & it's not just going to be me and him, it's going to be a shit load of all of us. i like taking care of him, i'm kind of like a 70's house wife, and i like it when he needs my help or advice, since we've known each other we've only fought twice...both times we were overly drunk. i always go back to him though in the end. it's just we have a complicated relationship. it's kind of hard to explain but he's pretty much my second half [not better half, but second]. i'm not trying to preach to you that i'm kind of in the whole puppy dog love. he's just the perfect best friend. & with all the things i've got going with me right now [in and out of the hospital] i kind of need him to be there when i wake up and to hold my hand when i'm in pain. i just don't know too many guys that would do that for a girl. so i'm gunna keep this one for awhile. but thanks for the moving advice.
