30 days posting meme: Day 1
Since I'm currently on vacation (technically unemployed), I should be able to do this daily posting thing... right?
HELLO, ELJAY. Been a while. My fault entirely.
Super quick summary: got laid off, then got asked to return, but since this might be a good time to look into some other career options AND I'd already bought my plane ticket, I decided to take a few months off - take a break from work, from New York, from my recent life, and try to figure out what (and where) next. So: I'm in Europe through the end of September, & currently hanging out in Nikiti, a small coastal town in Greece, at the tail end of a gorgeous summer. I will probably post a rage-inducing number of pics in the coming days, so... soznotsoz. It's the first real* beach vacation I've had in a decade so naturally I got a ridiculous sunburn yesterday, but it's still a dreamy trip. The weather is perfectly sunny but not too hot, the beach is sandy, the water is warm, clear, and calm, and when we take up lounge chairs under the huge straw umbrellas on the beach, the waiters bring us cookies and bottles of water with any coffee order. It's peaceful and relaxed and stunning. Wish you all could be here with me.

Anyway, wi-fi is weak and unreliable here so no guarantees for the next 2 weeks, but I'll do my best to post every day. Best unemployment EVERRRRRR.
