IT. IS. FINISHED. *twirls*
This fic is hands-down one of the most entertaining things I've read in my life. If you have any interest in HP 'verse, and don't care AT ALL about 1D or British media personalities, you can still enjoy it for the brilliant humor and fantastic world-building. SO HILARIOUS AND SWEET AND FILLED WITH DELICIOUS UST AND AWFUL, AWFUL PUNS. ♥

Summary:
In which Harry makes too many Care of Magical Creatures similes, Liam is a facsimile of a sham of a lie of a Prefect, Zayn is handy with the hexes, Louis thinks petty rivalry is for winners, and Niall divines the future (and the future is chaos).
Anyway, as the author points out, it "is not quite as long as Prisoner of Azkaban, but it is longer than both Chamber of Secrets and Philosopher's Stone" - but the great thing is, there are no cliffhangers at the end of chapters, and the plot is driven at a rather mellow pace so it's easy to pick up and leave in intervals (also why this was the least painful WIP reading process I've ever experienced).

This weekend's weather was glorious; I had the most exquisite brunch at Gallow Green today (the Sleep No More McKittrick rooftop café) with bottomless drinks and a limitless buffet-style cornucopia of delicious dishes. Slow-cooked scrambled eggs with scallions and gruyère! Perfectly fried bacon! Roasted early fall veggies! Yummy kale salad! "Some sort of magical bourbon caramel" bread pudding, & delectable cinnamon rolls! (I'm quoting
ahab99 and taking her word for that very last one, since I'm not a fan of cinnamon.) Endless bloody Marys and mimosas made with perfectly a-bit-pulpy juice! There was also a jazz band playing random kickass covers - Pink Floyd, for example - and the weather was UTTERLY GORGEOUS and, um. It seems they've added another Harvest Brunch for next Sunday, and I am SORELY TEMPTED TO GO AGAIN, NYC CREW. Just throwing that out there. :D
I hope your weekend was lovely too, friends. ♥
