when I know it's not like that, when it's
nearer the truth to say I've stepped out
to meet it as I always do, mute, barefoot,
and tuning the strings of my attention;
when I, too, have broken, have risen
from the dark and found a horizon;

Isn't it great? I've been feeling trapped in my life lately; this was a good reminder that I'm here by choice, due to my own actions, and even the slightest ones count.
