Longest. Week. Ever. But let's not dwell on the crappy parts of life, when there is such beauty to be found in the world! (And by beauty I mean porn.)
First: @bluesoaring has written On the Lam, a pornolicious ficlet sequel to the Adam/Tommy Western AU I recced a while ago. This one's got shaving (on a porch! with a straight razor!!!) and sex in the sunshine, and lots of sweetness and trust and lahve-lahve-lahve mixed in with the hotness. Second: speaking of pornolicious fic, my wonderful Lenore is holding a Smallville Nostalgia Challenge - just in time for today's series finale! - and the entries can be found in the comments here. Third: I have recently discovered Filament, a women's magazine with the subheading "the thinking woman's crumpet" (...exactly) that promises "no fashion, no diets, no celebrity gossip - yes, it really is that awesome" on the back page. The latest issue - #7 a.k.a. The Red Issue - includes articles about the sexiest communists, erotic blood play, female dominance, Marina Abramovic's art, slash fanfic (an article that does not make me want to stab myself in the face!), and prostitution law reform. There are also several FANTASTIC photoshoots in which men look beautiful in artistic but very realistic, human ways - and yes, they're naked. My rating on the basis of one issue? FIVE FUCKING STARS.
