In the spirit of EW's "Must" issue, here are five things I'm loving right now:
1. Entertainment Weekly: I always love EW, but I especially love it when the issues come a week early (yay Toronto!) instead of a week late (damn you Fredericton...) I like being in the loop. Anyone who know me knows that EW is pretty much my Bible. It's a crucial ingredient to the essence of Kristi.
2.
Go Fug Yourself: This website is hilarious! It helps me get through the many long boring hours I spend at work with little to do, although they do a more Kristen Bell bashing than my Veronica Mars obsessed brain can appreciate (I concede that she does often wear clothes that are much too big for her, but at least she's not dressing like a ho/hoe/both)
3. Neutral Milk Hotel - In the Aeroplane Over the Sea: Admittedly I've loved this song for a long time now, but I recently rediscovered my love for it, after having forgotten about it for over a month (because I stupidly chose not to bring my ipod to Rome). It's a beautiful song. It's about the Holocaust, but's not depressing. It's actually really uplifting. Highly recommend! (The entire album is in fact brilliant).
4.
This video p.s. I cracked up in X-men 3 when Wolverine told the X-Men to "suit up". People were confused. It was fantastic.
5. Babies! Haha, I'm surrounded by baby talk at work. My bosses are brothers, one of whom has a three month old, while the other has an eighteen month old with another on the way. And the other girl I work with has two nephews under the age of three. BABIES EVERYWHERE! Be afraid...
In other news, my uncle is now out of the hospital and at home. My Nanny is staying with him. I know he's happy to be home, and it's a relief to know that he's doing better. Fingers crossed, it will be uphill from here-on-in. As for my grandmother, she's fine. No cancer, just a spot on her kidney that's probably been there her whole life.
