So it would seem. And what impeccable timing! Just when I received a most engaging problem, another one presents itself.

A most engaging problem...? So...you're a professional problem solver? Cool.

I'd try to explain where you are, but...well, I'm new too, so I know nothing except that this is a city called City and that we all got abducted here.

[ Bit of a laugh on the other side. ] Yes, that is one way of phrasing it.

Abducted? That is an interesting word. It implies there is an abductor.
[ A pause. ]

Well! If we are both newcomers to the City, perhaps it would be easiest to introduce ourselves and compare notes. My name is Sherlock Holmes.

Cool, another one! I'm Hanna.

Well, from what I've heard, there is...or a group of them who think they're deities or something like that.

[There's a long pause on the other end before Hanna makes a sound like a squeal.]

Woah, woah. Wait. You're Sherlock Holmes? THE Sherlock Holmes?

I...I am a HUGE fan of your work, sir! You're the best there is!!

A group of deities...

[Oops lost his train of thought at the squeal, there. But it's met with some small amount of laughter.]

Ah, you have heard of me! No doubt from my colleague, Dr. Watson's fanciful narratives. I must admit that he has a tendency to embellish the facts in such a way I cannot possibly condone.

Yeah, I've read all about your adventures! You're one of the best there is, I'd love to be like you!

...Oh, sorry...didn't mean to fanboy like that, specially in the middle of a conversation. It doesn't happen that much, I swear!

[ And more laughter. Really, stop, his head is big enough ♥ ]

Not at all. Well, if you endeavor to utilize the art of deduction as I have, I daresay this city is a perfect specimen to examine! Let us see what we can make of it.

[Dude, you're just making his day over here, he is never going to stop fawning.]

All right!
Oh my god, working with Sherlock Holmes...

Have you noticed that the city seems to tick? I don't know if you've got a map yet, but if you take a look at the city from above, it sort of looks like a clock...

An excellent observation. It has indeed crossed my mind, and it has also struck me as very suggestive that this ticking does not appear to deviate in volume depending on the location in the city.

As for the layout... well, there is nothing I can say at this point that transcends conjecture.

Well, it just may mean that there's a connection between the layout of the city and the ticking...I don't know, I haven't had a chance to look at it more closely yet...

It is not impossible. But it is a capital mistake to theorize before one has sufficient data!

I would like to do a little investigating of my own now, there are some elements which have piqued my interest. I daresay we shall cross paths again soon.

This is very true!

That sounds awesome. We'll..we'll totally cross paths soon, and I'll let you know what I find out.

It's...it's really great to meet you again, sir.

Holy crap, I'm working with Sherlock Holmes.
