[Although it has only been occupied for three days, the sitting room of 221 B2 is a mess. Mostly papers, but a few other technological bits and every-day things one could find around the city are also present. The most curious thing, however, would be the numerous small piles of dirt covering the table, each one a different color and consistency.

Well, I don't know if you'd call me a veteran of the City... but I have been here for over a year now.

Typically curses last only 24 hours... with the occasional one that lasts for 48. But as to what's occurring now, it seems like something else is going on.

It would be fortunate if it were only a day's duration. What do you make of this, if you suggest it may be something other than a curse? How does this differ from any other?

Typically, curses will only affect a portion of the populace leaving others unscathed. But there have been a few events where the landscape itself is altered in such a way that it is felt by everyone. Geographical phenomena, if you will.

My organization has been studying the City since I cofounded it upon my arrival. Unfortunately, these events are pretty drastic when they occur... I'm only hoping that it won't have any long lasting repercussions, whatever it is.
